Curt and Genie Saunders of Hartfield are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Maria Saunders, to Brian Hubbard of Mathews.

Brian is the son of Ruth Hubbard and the late Keith Hubbard of Mathews. Miss Saunders is the granddaughter of the late Clarke T. and Maria V. Richardson of Mathews and the late Milton and Lucy Trimm of Emporia. Mr. Hubbard is the grandson of the late Thomas and Minnie Hubbard of Gwynn’s Island and the late Marion Culpepper Love of Elizabeth City, N.C. and Virginia Love of Moon.

Miss Saunders is the assistant manager at M&M Building Supply in Mathews. Mr. Hubbard is the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor of West Rock Corp. in West Point. A fall 2023 wedding is planned.
