CHARLIE KOENIG / GAZETTE-JOURNAL Hannah May Holloway, who will turn 6 on New Years’ Day, was one of the children who visited with Ol’ Saint Nick as he visited the Gloucester Library on Saturday, one of several stops that Santa Claus has been making throughout the area. Next week, the Gazette-Journal will include more pictures of children with Santa in the paper’s annual Christmas Greetings section.

Where can you find Santa Claus in this last week before Christmas? Here are a couple of opportunities we have found:

Santa Run

Abingdon Volunteer Fire and Rescue will make its final Santa Run of 2025 on Saturday from Linda Circle to Coke and Glass. Routes and times on the AVFR Facebook page. Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue is also making Santa runs through its neighborhoods on weekends. More information on its Facebook page.

Breakfast with Santa

LIFT Mathews will host Breakfast with Santa from 9-11 a.m. on Saturday at Central United Methodist Church.
