Santa Claus will pay a special visit this weekend to the Christmas lights display that Hudgins residents Wayne and Jennifer Fox have set up throughout their property.
According to Mr. Fox, Santa will be at the home from 7-9 Saturday night. Mrs. Claus will also be on hand, passing out candy canes to children who stop by.
Fox said Santa’s elves will also be with him, and will be accepting children’s letters to Santa Claus.
The couple has worked tirelessly over the past several months to design and install their display of lights—over 90,000 bulbs. The family said the display is open to the entire community and all that is requested is that canned food/nonperishable donations be left for them to give to Hands Across Mathews and the Bread for Life Community Food Pantry in Gloucester.
The display will be lit every night from 6-10 o’clock through Jan. 1, 2016, unless it is raining.
