A graveside service for Samuel Carl Greene, 52, of Bena, was held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Rosewell Memorial Garden Cemetery, Hayes. He died Aug. 15, 2018.

He was a Gloucester native and a painter. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence S. Greene and Vernell Lee Greene. 

Survivors include his sons, Daniel Greene and Brandon Greene; sisters, Carol Byrum and Dian DeMille, and a grandson.
