Deanna Miner, the previous co-owner of Hair on Main, has branched out on her own to create Salon 4:13 Beauty Lounge, located in the Edgehill Town Center at 6736 Main Street in Gloucester. The new hair salon officially opened for business on May 5. Miner says she will be joined by at least three other independent stylists in the space, who will all have their own hours and booking information. “I’m excited for that,” she said. When deciding on a name for her salon, Miner decided to turn to her faith. She named her business after Philippians 4:13 in the Bible, which states, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” “It’s a reminder,” she said about the verse. “Some of the hardest seasons in life can lead to growth.” Coincidentally, the fourth letter of the alphabet is “D” and the thirteenth letter is “M,” which are Miner’s initials.
