Safe Harbor Storage, located on George Washington Memorial Highway, Hayes, recently hired two new local co-managers.

Evelyn C. Smith handles marketing for the self-storage complex, while Rebecca Ferrell coordinates the administrative end of the office.

Smith said Safe Harbor has more than 600 self-storage units, with seven different size options. Some are climate controlled, she said.

Besides the storage units, outdoor space is available where boats, cars, trucks and recreational vehicles may be stored. The entire complex is fenced with a security access code for each client, Ferrell said.

In addition, Safe Harbor sells all types of packing materials including boxes, tape and plastic peanuts, as well as locks. Safe Harbor also rents U-Haul trucks and trailers. The business is owned by Wilson Creek Investments, LLC of Gloucester and is managed by Universal Storage Group of Atlanta, Georgia.
