The Northern Neck Sail & Power Squadron is offering a course to help people earn their Virginia Boating Safety Card. The class will be held on two consecutive Saturdays, Aug. 15 and 22, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days, at the NNSPS Classroom, at 453-C North Main Street, Kilmarnock. The fee is $25 and will include use of a Boating Skills Virtual Trainer and a Vessel Safety Check. People must attend both sessions to earn their card.
