RWRH receives 4th consecutive top safety mark

Riverside Health System announced last week that Riverside Walter Reed Hospital (RWRH) earned its fourth consecutive top mark, “A,” for patient safety performance in the Spring 2021 Hospital Safety Grade Scores by The Leapfrog Group, an independent, national watchdog organization committed to health care quality and safety.

“Patient safety is an ongoing priority for our team, and as the pandemic continues, our staff has been as dedicated as ever to ensuring patients are being cared for with the utmost compassion,” said Dr. Esther Desimini, president of RWRH. “We’re proud to receive an ‘A’ for the fourth year in a row. It’s a huge testament to the empathy we devote to our patients, and the efforts we’ve made to care for others as we would care for those we love. Regardless of circumstances, we want our patients to always feel safe inside our doors, and we’re honored to hear that they do.”
