Ruth Luise Walker, 92, of Newport News, passed away at Heron Cove 2, Gloucester, on Dec. 24, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, William W. (Bill) Walker.

Survivors include the Rev. Edward R. Walker of Gloucester, Mark W. Walker of Greenville, Del., and Debra W. Costa of Newport News; six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

She was a member of Chestnut Memorial United Methodist Church where her memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on March 21.
