Ruth Jeanette Hull, 92, of Gloucester, passed away July 10, 2015 at Sanders Assisted Living.
Ruth was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Richmond, Va. She enjoyed making crafts and crocheting, loved holidays and family being together. Ruth made quilts for the needy and sent cards to all homebound folks. Ruth was a very kind and gentle soul; she had a loving and generous heart, and was always giving to others.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George C. Hull.
She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her sons, George Hull and wife Marilyn, and Douglas Hull and wife Cannie; grandchildren, Kristen and husband Lance, Jennifer and husband Jeff, and Elizabeth; great-grandchildren, Bradley, Andrew, Brooklynn and Kacy.
The family received friends Sunday, July 12, 2015, from 2-3 p.m. at Newington Baptist Church, Gloucester, followed by a 3 o’clock funeral service conducted by the Rev. Michael R. Gray. There was a service 9:30 a.m. on Monday, July 13, 2015, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Richmond, conducted by the Rev. Matt Bean and the Rev. Art Umbach. Interment was at 2 p.m. on Monday in Culpeper National Cemetery, Culpeper, Va.
