Russell “Rusty” Lee Walker Sr., 57, of Urbanna lost his battle with cancer on June 27, 2019.

Rusty was born on March 2, 1962 in Newport News to the late Charles “Chuck” and Faye Walker.

Rusty was a skilled craftsman, who never shied away from hard work. He loved wildlife, playing with his grandchildren, his cats and, most of all, his wife of 36 years, Christy.

Rusty is survived by his wife, Christy; three sons, Russell “Lee” Walker Jr. (Leah), Justin Walker (Tiffany) and Steven Walker; six grandchildren, Mckinsey, Avery, Aden, Jesse, Logan and Baby Walker (due January 2020); his brother, Clay Walker (Suzy); his sister, Cindy Barrett (Doug), and other extended family.

A Celebration of Life potluck will be held on Sunday, July 7, at 2 p.m. at the Deltaville Community Center, 17147 General Puller Hwy., Deltaville, Va. 23043.
