A memorial service for Russell (Butch) Kelly Jr., 72, of Holden Beach, N.C., will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 19 in Zion Baptist Church, Cardinal. He died March 2, 2016.

He was a former resident of Mathews County.

Survivors include his wife, Diane Epps Kelly; children, Russell and Chris Epps of Holden Beach and Shametrius Epps of Hampton; brother, Charles Kelly and sister, Patricia Fields, both of Cardinal, and three grandchildren.

The service will be conducted by Pastor Johnny Wallace.
