Mary Runnells of Gloucester was appointed as a coordinator of special education by the Gloucester County School Board during its July 9 meeting.
Appointed to teaching positions for the 2013-2014 school year were Hannah Kellogg and Teresa Lukasik of Gloucester, Leigh A. Every and Karrissa Harbour of Hayes, Jennifer Holmes of Hartfield, Matthew Rosendahl of Urbanna, and Cathleen Jackson of Parksley.
Also, Erin O’Brien of Sterling, Kimberly Markley of Palmyra, Mairin Martin of Fredericksburg, Alanna Bragg of Norfolk, and Alison Wheeler, Kelsey Stanton and Rosalinda Stanford, all of Williamsburg. In addition, Laura Yaeckel of Saluda, was appointed as a teacher assistant.
The board accepted resignations from Achilles Elementary library media specialist Renee Hamilton-Bains and Gloucester High School math teacher Ryan Gross. A coaching resignation was accepted from Page Middle School field hockey coach Deena Covington.
