Ruby Grubb Willis, age 82, of Saluda, passed away Friday, April 26, 2013.

She was the widow of Lewis P. “Slick” Willis, and a member of Branch’s Baptist Church in Richmond.

She is survived by her children, Patricia Leggett and Dennis Willis (Robin); sisters, Dorothy Speight and Jean Melton; grandchildren, Craig (Leslie), Jeremy (Kelly), Dennis Craig and Hunter; great-grandchildren, Will, Josh and Caroline; several nieces and nephews; a special friend, Patricia Stanley; she was known to many as “Nanny.”

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Saluda, were conducted by the Rev. Rita Staul. Interment was in New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery, Gloucester County, Va. The family received friends from 7-8:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
