A funeral for Ruby Frances Lemon, 92, of Gloucester, was held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 18 at Providence Baptist Church, Hayes. She died Feb. 15, 2017.

She was a member of Providence Baptist Church, taught Sunday school, participated in the Friendly and Ruth Sunday School classes and was a member of the Alice Fields Missionary Circle. For many years she worked in the Gloucester County Commissioner of Revenue office. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, William V. Lemon.

Survivors include her children, William V. Lemon Jr., Patrick F. Lemon, Launa M. Lemon, Edward E. Lemon and Delia (DeDe) H. Lemon; 13 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.

The service was conducted by the Rev. William Corey and the Rev. Bill West. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
