Roy William Justice, 83, of Texas, passed away on March 3, 2026 leaving behind a legacy of service, strength, and family. Born and raised in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains of North Carolina, Roy carried the spirit of the mountains with him throughout his life.

Roy was a proud and decorated veteran, serving 20 years in the United States Army with distinction. Following his military retirement, he continued his commitment to public safety as a dedicated Security Officer for the State of Texas.

Survivors include his only child, Angela Justice; granddaughters, Brooke Verner and Emily Justice; five great-grandchildren, Angelina Justice, Sophia Verner, Lucille Verner, Henry Eckstein, Valor Justice, all of Mathews.
