The Gloucester Rotary Club will hold its signature fundraising event, the 36th annual Pig Roast, from 5-9 p.m. next Thursday, Sept. 26 at the Ware River Yacht Club, Ware Neck.

This year’s event, like those held in years past, is expected to provide funds for scholarships and various community and international programs, a release stated.

Tickets for the all-you-can-eat pig roast are $35. Participants are invited to enjoy barbecue, baked beans, cole slaw, dessert, wine, beer, soft drinks and more. Food will be served until 7:30 p.m.

Music will be provided by “Something Different,” a popular local father/daughter duo. Tickets are available from all members of the local Rotary Club or, if more convenient, may be reserved by calling 804-695-4775 (Nancy), 804-815-4475 (Jay) or 804-693-2932 (Bob).
