Rosenberg named Daffodil Festival grand marshal

Ware Neck resident Patty Rosenberg has put in countless hours volunteering to help support the Gloucester Daffodil Festival since its inception over 30 years ago.

This year, she will receive a special recognition for her dedication and love of the festival by being selected as grand marshal to lead the parade.

Rosenberg will be formally recognized Saturday during the unveiling of this year’s Limited Edition Print for the festival, which will begin at 2:30 p.m. at Gloucester Arts on Main. This year’s 32nd annual festival with the theme, “Paint the Town Yellow,” is scheduled for March 24-25.

“Patty Rosenberg was chosen for many reasons as our grand marshal this year,” said Mary Boerner, who co-chairs the Daffodil Festival Committee with Ann Andrews.
