Rose Elaine Washington, 83, of Gloucester, passed away on Sept. 27, 2026.

Survivors include her husband, Harold Washington.

A viewing will be held from 6-7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2 in the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home, 251 Richneck Road, Newport News. The funeral service will be held Saturday, Oct. 3 at New Mount Zion Baptist Church, 11127 Woods Cross Road, Gloucester.
