ROSE ALIANIELLO JICHA

Rose Alianiello Jicha, 88, of Gloucester, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013.

She was born in Portsmouth to the late Thelma and James I. Tonkin Sr. She enjoyed spending time with her family, camping, motorcycles, flea markets, and the American flag. At age 14, she was crowned a beauty queen who loved singing and dancing. She was a devout Christian, who had a wonderful smile, and loved “Gone with the Wind.”

She was predeceased by her first husband and the father of her children, Victor A. Alianiello Jr.; her second husband, Charles F. Jicha; a son, Victor Alianiello III, and a brother, James Tonkin Jr.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Paula A. Pultz and her husband, Frank; three step-sons, Keith, Eugene and Dean Jicha; a sister, Claudia Odom; 15 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A funeral service was held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, in Portsmouth with burial in Olive Branch Cemetery, Portsmouth.
