Courtnie Greene of Gloucester, is a hairstylist at Roots to Ends, a hair salon located at 6095 George Washington Memorial Highway, just south of the Court House. The salon opened eight years ago and offers haircuts and style along with hair coloring and facial waxing.

According to Greene, some of the biggest obstacles the business has had to overcome were the recent restrictions the pandemic has brought. Roots to Ends had to shutdown for almost two months, which brought some fear on what their business was going to look like once they could reopen. Greene said that the salon is super blessed to have customers that were patient and worked with the salon during this time while doing its best to make everyone feel safe and comfortable.

In 2014, Greene graduated from Gloucester High School and successfully completed the two-year cosmetology program at GHS. In 2019, she completed her undergraduate degree in social work at Christopher Newport University.
