Two experienced stylists have joined forces to start their own salon, Roots to Ends. The shop opened June 1 at Towne and Country Center, White Marsh.

Cindy M. Green and Tina M. West, who previously worked together at Supercuts in Gloucester, decided to try owning a shop after working for others. They have one employee, stylist Whitney M. Adkins.

The three stylists offer haircuts for men, women and children. Other services include hair coloring, Keratin conditioning treatments, well water treatments (to remove iron buildup in hair), and waxing.

West said they plan to add manicures and pedicures later this year and may hire additional employees. They accept both appointments and walk-in customers.

Green has 21 years’ hair care experience. She worked at the local Supercuts for 20 years and worked one year at another Gloucester salon.
