RONALD DEAN BROWN

Ronald Dean Brown, born April 7, 1946, died July 21, 2018, following a long battle with leukemia.

Ronnie spent his life in his beloved Guinea land, except for the two years he spent in the U.S. Army. He loved being outside, especially when he was flying with his best friend, David Grow. He was a brick mason and carpenter. Ronnie was a friend to many who enjoyed his wonderful wit. He will be missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alton “Tony” Brown and Lucille Smith Brown, and his brother, A.J. Brown III.

He is survived by his sisters, Gaynelle McNichols, Joanne Brown and Betty Setterholm, all of Achilles. He is also survived by a number of beloved nieces and nephews. and his faithful pets, Max and Rosie.

A celebration of life, conducted by the Rev. John Downs, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, 2018, at the Achilles Friends Church. Inurnment will be private.
