Roland Lewis Miller, 89, of Harcum, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2018.
He was a member of Olive Branch United Methodist Church and Botetourt Masonic Lodge (having received a certificate for 50 years of service).
Mr. Miller retired as a pipefitter/welder with Amoco Oil Refinery, Yorktown. He worked at Chimney Corner Lawnmower, Hudgins, servicing lawnmowers after retirement.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Helen Miller; two brothers, Lee and Walter Miller Jr., and a sister, Bettie Lindsey.
Survivors include his wife, Pattie Miller; three sons, Hardy Miller and friend, Shelia, Arthur Miller and wife, Susan, and David Miller and wife, Reese; a sister, Nora Ellen Fitchett; eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 28 at Olive Branch U.M. Church. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 29 at the church; burial will follow in the church cemetery. A reception will follow at the church.
