Roberta Cosby of Virginia Beach died on Aug. 15, 2019. 

She was born on Jan. 17, 1939 in Cobbs Creek.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Henry Cosby; a daughter, Lynda Kokes (Bobby); son, Bruce Hudgins; stepchildren, Brenda C. Morgan, Susan C. Graf, Neal C. Cosby (Nadine); five grandchildren, Jessica M. Blitz (Sam), Samantha C. Uchigashima (Daicha), Emma Cosby, Luke Gillikin and Emily Gillikin, and two great-grandchildren, Brooks and Barnes Blitz.  

Roberta was a devout Christian with a beautiful singing voice, and was devoted to family.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 21 at Virginia Beach Methodist Church in Virginia Beach at 11 a.m.
