Robert Walker Coleman Sr., 68, of Gloucester, died unexpectedly Nov. 29, 2016.

He was a quality inspector for Riggins Company. Robert loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Robert built his life around his family and friends, and his deep love, strength and integrity will greatly be missed.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Shirley Ann Coleman, and parents, Raymond and Emma Coleman.

He is survived by son, Robert W. Coleman Jr. and wife Shana; granddaughter, Lorelai Coleman; sisters-in-law, Patsy Lewis and husband Dale, Brenda Burton and husband Willie, and Lisa Forrest and husband Dave; nieces and nephews along with many extended family and friends.

Memorial service was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016, at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. Inurnment was private. The family received friends prior to the service from 10-11 at the funeral home.
