Robert (Robbie) McClanahan, 67, passed away at his home in Cobbs Creek on Sunday, August 21, 2016, as a result of lung cancer.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Elijah McClanahan. 

Survivors include his mother, Martha McClanahan of Cobbs Creek; two sisters, Heather Choate of Portland, Oregon, and Sharon Setzer of Raleigh, North Carolina, and his brother, David McClanahan of Columbia, South Carolina.

 The family received friends on Wednesday August 24, 2016, from 6-8 p.m. at Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews, Va. Family burial will be at a later date.
