Robert H. Haselwood, 91, of Hayes, passed away Nov. 19, 2015 at his home.

Robert was retired from the United States Air Force, Technical Sergeant after 23 years, and retired from NASA Langley as a security guard. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and a member of the Denbigh Rod and Gun Hunt Club. Robert loved spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Annas L. Haselwood.

He is survived by his sons, Allen Haselwood and Jimmie Haselwood and wife Susan; sister, Claire Ballard; grandchildren, Mike Powell, Joey Powell, Chance Powell, Robert Allen Haselwood, Theresa Haselwood, Robert Earl Haselwood Jr., Kris Haselwood, Summer Haselwood and Madilynn Haselwood, and a host of great-grandchildren.

A funeral service conducted by the Rev. Arthur L. Wolz Jr. was held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2015, at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. Interment with military honors followed in Peninsula Memorial Park Cemetery. The family received friends Monday, Nov. 23, 2015, from 7-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
