Robert Foster Gaffga, 96, of Mathews and Spring Hill, Florida, died Oct. 26, 2019 at his home in Mathews.

Robert was born on Sept. 28, 1923 in East Moriches, New York. He served as a corporal in the Army Air Corps in WWII, and worked for 32 years at Brookhaven National Laboratory on Long Island, New York, before retiring to Florida.

He was predeceased by his wife, Marion C. Gaffga, and is survived by his wife, Joyce Robb Gaffga; children, Robert Gaffga (Laurie) and Linda Vigliotta (John); four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Burial will be private at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
