Robert Curtis Hunt, 84, passed away Monday, Jan. 22, 2018.

Robert was a native of Hampton and was a resident of Cobbs Creek since 1992. He was an avid boater and enjoyed spending time on the water.

Robert was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Benjamin E. Hunt, and mother, Mary Louise Smith Hunt; a daughter, Theresa Leigh Hunt, and a brother, Benjamin E. Hunt Jr. 

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Carolyn H. Hunt, and a son, Robert C. Hunt Jr. of Cobbs Creek, and a sister, Mary Helen Todd of Newport News.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 26, 2018, in the chapel of Amory Funeral Home, Grafton. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park, Hampton. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 25, at the funeral home.
