Robert Coles Ambrose, 67, of Cobbs Creek, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2018.

He retired after 32 years as a heavy equipment mechanic with the Naval Weapons Station. He was an avid Harley-Davidson fan; he loved NASCAR, working on cars, and helping people.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Lawrence Ambrose Sr.

He is survived by his faithful companion of 21 years, Tina Dennis; her daughter, Sequoya Rucker (Reginald), and her son, John Dennis. Robert is also survived by his brother, Charles K. Ambrose; sister, Barbara Brown; sister-in-law, Mary Lou Ambrose, and several nieces and nephews.

The family received friends on Friday, Oct. 12, 2018, from 1-2 p.m. at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews. A funeral service followed in the funeral home Chapel at 2 o’clock with entombment at Windsor Gardens Cemetery & Mausoleum, Dutton.
