Phillip Roane of Gloucester, is the newest member of the Gloucester-Mathews Gazette-Journal staff.

Roane, 22, began work last week as a graphics associate, where he will design and layout newspaper advertisements, assist in job printing and handle other graphic design tasks. A 2018 graduate of Gloucester High School, Roane attended Rappahannock and John Tyler Community colleges, where he studied graphic design.
