Road leading to Harcum boat landing gets much-needed repair

These images show the condition of the roadway leading to Deep Point Boat Landing at Harcum before and after construction was completed earlier this month.

Thanks to a partnership between Gloucester County, Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources and the Virginia Department of Transportation, the roadway leading to Deep Point Boat Landing at Harcum has received much-needed repair.

Construction was completed earlier this month on the project, which returned it to a usable state.

VDOT provided the labor, equipment, and materials to stabilize the shoulders of the road, resurface it and help with drainage. The access point is owned and managed by the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources.
