Historic Yorktown will host back-to-back popular events the weekend of May 6-7 at Riverwalk Landing: Blues, Brews & BBQ and the Art at the River Juried Art Show.

Blues, Brews & BBQ

Tickets are on sale now at www.villageevents.org for the Blues, Brews & BBQ Festival on Saturday, May 6. From noon to 6 p.m., attendees can sample dozens of craft beers, enjoy some BBQ (available for purchase) and listen as some of the area’s best blues musicians from the waterfront Riverwalk Landing stage. The performing bands include the HM Johnson Band at 12:30 p.m. and The Jason Cale Band at 3:30 p.m.

Back by popular demand this year is the Wine Tent, offering tastings included with admission. Early Bird tickets are $35 (now through April 15) and $40 after and at the door (if tickets are still available). This is a closed, ticket-only event and is not recommended for children or pets. A limited number of non-drinking tickets are available for $15.
