Riverside Health System has been recognized for the 12th consecutive year as one of America’s Most Wired health care systems.

According to a survey, technology is improving the efficiency of care delivery and creating a new dynamic in patient interactions. These Most Wired hospitals are using telehealth to fill gaps in care, provide services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and expand access to medical specialists, a release said.

Riverside Walter Reed Hospital and the Sanders Retirement complex in Gloucester and convalescent centers in Mathews and Saluda are part of Riverside Health System.
