Riverside presents Memory Care Learning Series

A Memory Care Learning Series to support family caregivers with tips, techniques and best practices launched on the Middle Peninsula this week and registration is open.

The four-part program presented by Riverside Health System focuses on caregiver self-care and offers a combination of award-winning, hands-on workshops, complemented by an online learning video series, a release said.

The goal is to provide the community with the tools caregivers need to support loved ones living with Alzheimer’s disease and other memory impairments, said Peter Glagola, public relations director for Riverside.

Participants can follow a recommended order, or sign up for programs as convenient. Workshops are scheduled at various times of year, but the online learning is available anytime at the side riversideonline.com/services/NSI/MemoryCare/education.cfm.
