Riverside Health System commemorated 429 days since it diagnosed and treated its first case of COVID-19 last Wednesday, May 12.
At all of its locations, Riverside made May 12 a day of honor, remembrance and recognition for care teams, patients and loved ones impacted by the pandemic.
Riverside facilities were decorated with teal, white and gold balloon bouquets and installations. Each display was included in a space where Riverside team members could reflect on their experiences.
Riverside chose to commemorate 429 days of battling the disease because it correlated with Team Member Appreciation Day and the last day of Nurse’s Week.
