RiverJam returns to Gloucester May 18

Gloucester Arts on Main will hold its annual RiverJam Outdoor Music Festival from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, on the lawn at Sussex, the York River home of Julie and Catesby Jones.

“We were pleased to host RiverJam and look forward to an afternoon of great music for the community,” said host Catesby Jones in a press release.

Local band Edison & Co. will open the event, followed by regional favorite band, Brasswind.

RiverJam attendees of all ages will have a chance to demonstrate their creativity on the community mural in the art tent, said the release. Local food trucks, Boyd’s Tasty Dogs, On the Flip Side, and Old City BBQ will provide an eclectic array of food options, while Main Street’s Gloucester Brewing Co. and Robin’s Cellars of Richmond will provide a wide selection of beverages.
