Riverbend Apartment Homes, a 218-unit community in Gloucester, is now open and leasing, according to the project’s developer, S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co.

The property is on Route 17 just south of Gloucester Court House where the old Post 75 American Legion building was located.

According to a release from Nusbaum Realty, the property provides high-end finishes, such as wood plank flooring, granite countertops in the kitchens and baths, full-size washer and dryer hook-ups, Energy Star appliances and other energy-efficient features for the benefit of the residents, which resulted in the community being awarded the Earthcraft Gold designation.

Community amenities include a state-of-the-art clubhouse, fitness center, community playground and a resort style pool with poolside cabana, an outdoor kitchen, grilling stations and a fire pit.
