Richard Neal Strickland, 35, of Gloucester, passed away on Friday, March 11, 2016. 

He was born in Newport News, Va. and was a self-employed carpenter and was getting ready to start classes to be a chef.

He is survived by his sons, Alec and Brendan; his parents, Neal and Bonnie Scott Strickland, and his grandfather, Futerll R. Strickland Sr.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at the funeral home at 11 a.m.
