Richard L. Miller of Powhatan, formerly of Hayes, passed away on May 30, 2026.

He was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Gloucester Point, a Sunday school teacher, and enjoyed coaching the co-ed softball team. He also took part in a missions’ trip to build a church in Trapper Creek, Alaska. He is survived by two children, Cheryl Donahue and Brian Miller; two grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
