Richard H. Freeman of Waverly, a former resident of Gloucester, died on Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at Medical College of Virginia Hospital.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Randolph and June Fox Freeman.

He is survived by his wife, Shelby Freeman; daughters, Kim Cullen, Barbara Haley of Gloucester, Regina Parham of Waverly, and Teresa Colon of York County; son, Randy Freeman of Newport News; brother, W.R. “Billy” Freeman of Gloucester, and 11 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on March 30 with burial in Waverly.
