RICHARD ALLEN HUTH

Today we honor our beloved son, brother, husband, father and grandfather, Richard Allen Huth, whose earthly journey came to an end, June 25, 2018, after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Born and raised in Hampton, he was one of five children born to the late Robert Allen Huth Sr. and surviving mother, Gloria Wroten Huth. Ric’s artistic talents surfaced early, through drawing and music. He was lead vocalist with such bands as: Prophitt, Noise R’ Us, Alcatraz, and Signs Of Life. He was also known to many as “The Glassman!” Installing auto and boat glass for decades for companies such as Danny’s Glass, Precision Glass and River Glass. 

He is survived by a sister, Peggy and Kenneth Schiedler; nieces, Amy, Stephanie and Rene Ramirez; brother, Robert Huth Jr., wife Sherry and nieces, Brittany and Lisa; sister, Pam and Ed Wilcyzski and nephews, Miles and Ed, and Ed’s family; sister, Deb and nephews, Chris and Cole; by wife, Sharee Huth and beloved son, Matthew Traft-Huth; along with stepchildren, Tim Haase and granddaughter Liz, Clayton Leager and granddaughter, Hailey bug, Andrew Leager, Lyndsey Leager; as well as extended family members and friends.

He has touched many lives through his work and talents. We are comforted with the knowledge, of his acceptance of the LORD months ago. And the peace he felt, knowing Heaven as his eternal home.

A memorial service will be held in his family home, 6265 Main Street, Gloucester, Va. on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 1 p.m.
