Financial advisor Nathan Hansen of Gloucester will soon formally announce the opening of his Edward Jones branch with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, Aug. 8.

Beginning at noon, the public is invited to join Hansen and the Gloucester Chamber of Commerce at his Gloucester Court House location on the corner of Main Street and DuVal Avenue. There will be refreshments provided by Sweet Tooth Café and Bakery.

“This has been a dream of mine for quite some time, and I couldn’t be happier,” said Hansen, who went into finance after serving in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Hansen has previously worked as a financial advisor in Williamsburg and Hampton Roads in addition to his time in Gloucester.
