Rhino Tobacco and Vapes opened recently adjacent to Food Lion on Hargett Boulevard in Gloucester.

The shop includes a wide variety of tobacco and tobacco-related products. Owner Moe Alashmali said he is particularly pleased to be offering a wide range of CBD products in chewable, edible and tincture forms for both people and animals. He said he is selling the hemp extract for medicinal purposes such as headache relief, and that he is getting the product from local sources as much as possible.

The shop also has high-end cigars such as Cohiba and Perdomo, numerous cigarette brands, including exotic cigarettes, and a wide range of chewing and dipping tobaccos.

People who use CBD and tobacco will also find a large variety of delivery devices, from rolling papers to pipes, vapes, hookahs, and colorful glass art.

Beyond smoking and smoking-related products, Alashmali also sells NFL sports products such as flags, wall plaques, blankets, hats, and footballs for all teams; incense, candles, and air fresheners made especially to help with smoke odors; clothing such as long skirts with a 60s look, woven hoodies, and Dashiki-style shirts, and a variety of gift items.

Rhino is a family-owned business, said Alashmali. Its parent store is A&N Tobacco and Vape in Tappahannock. Alashmali said his family has many years of experience in the tobacco business, and the plan is to eventually rename A&N to Rhino and establish a chain of stores.
