RFA opens On Stage season on Sept. 10

Subscriptions are still available for the Rappa-hannock Foundation for the Arts On Stage season at the Lancaster Middle School auditorium, featuring four performances with a variety of genres and two Grammy Award winners.

“While this is a shortened season as the auditorium will be inaccessible due to renovations after January 2023, the shows to be presented are truly fantastic. It’s hard to see what could be better than two multi-award winning artists, a salute to Virginia’s own talent, and a unique, theatrical show in the Broadway tradition from ideas put forth by RFA patrons,” said board president Rita Grinbergs.

Grammy winning guitarist Larry Carlton, who built his long career as a studio musician in the ’70s and ’80s playing for such acts as Steely Dan and Joni Mitchell, will open the season, along with his band, on Sept. 10.
