The Rev. Isaac “Ike” Addington, 74, of Shacklefords, went to be with the Lord Nov. 12, 2018.

Ike was a man who sang constantly, loved preaching, and was cherished by many. He was preceded in death by his parents, Maggie and Fleetwood Addington; three brothers, and a son, Isaac Jr. 

Ike is survived by his wife, Evelyn; children, Sharon Fogarty (Jim), Anthony Smolich (Donna), Rhonda Walton (Franklin), Paul Smolich Jr. (Laura), and Debbie Riggs (Tom); 23 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild, numerous other relatives and his extended Christian family.

A funeral service will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, Nov. 17, at Vincent Funeral Home, West Point, and the family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-noon, just prior to the service. Interment will follow in Shackelfords Chapel Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Gospel Lighthouse Worship Center, P.O. Box 492, Shacklefords, Va. 23156.
