REV. GENERALEE ROBINSON

A funeral for the Rev. Generalee Robinson of Gloucester, was held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, in Morning Glory Baptist Church, Woods Cross Roads. He died Monday, Jan. 21, 2013.

The Rev. Mr. Robinson was a native of Gloucester County, a veteran of the U.S. Army of World War II, retiree of the U.S. Department of the Army at the Pentagon, and associate minister at Morning Glory Baptist Church. He had also worked for the Metropolitan Police Department of Washington, D.C., and owned a private detective agency.

Survivors include his wife, Marie A. Talbert-Robinson; daughters, Ellen Keys of Forestville, Md., Marsha Peterson of Capital Heights, Md., Clara Duell of Washington, D.C., Vera Watson of Clinton, Md., and Rhonda Hewitt of Washington, D.C.; a son, Allen Hewitt of Washington, D.C.; sister, Mary Louise Trimmel; brother, Phillip Robinson, both of Gloucester; nine grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

Burial with military honors was in the church cemetery.

Howard Funeral Home, Ark, was in charge.
