Reunion at beloved home

The Garden Week tour on April 20 brought together three present and former residents at Paget, one of the tour homes. Current owners Barry Aldrich and Whittier Brown bought the property in 2013 from the Byron and Nancy Williams family, who had lived there for almost 45 years. From left are owner Barry Aldrich, former resident Cynthia Williams Geisert, and owner Whit Brown. The Williams family came to Gloucester from Hampton in 1969 when Byron Williams, an architect, was encouraged by Bank of Gloucester president Herbert I. Lewis to move to the county, according to family history. Cynthia Williams Geisert, a daughter, is also a member of tour sponsor the Garden Club of Gloucester and Mathews.
