Rescue fund

The Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society is hoping to raise $10,000 on GivingTuesday, Dec. 1, for its Angel Fund. Pictured is Fidgy, a guinea pig that entered GMHS’s care with open wounds and a bad case of sarcoptic mange. He required extensive veterinary care which was covered by the Angel Fund. He was recently adopted by Veronika Pshenytska, right. Also pictured is Alan Zucher. The program also benefited Country, a four-year-old German Shepherd mix. The Angel Fund covered the cost of diagnostics and treatment for his seizures. He is now available for adoption at the shelter.
